The community gathers on an online platform (so appropriately 😉) called Circle.so, and while you can join at any time, only 4 times a year (just after the Solstices and Equinoxes), we mark the turning of the seasons with a digital mini-retreat.
These retreats are like a seasonal climate leadership compass calibration. In them, we'll dig into your big picture vision for your life as a builder of the Great Turning and clarify your big "WHY" for being in SCLC.
We’ll create a map for your season ahead:
What tangible impact do you want to make in the world?
What support will you need to bring in?
What will you need to let go of?
What practices do you want to develop?
How would you love your experience of your life and work to shift in these coming months?
This map will help you navigate the months ahead with clarity and focus, even when the path gets foggy…or things don’t go according to plan (which of course, they rarely do).
Seeing this after the retreat? No sweat! The digital mini-retreat will live in our Circle platform as a DIY course, so you can walk yourself through it on your own at any time.
Why I created the Soulful Climate Leadership Circle
I’ve been a climate activist for 18 years and a coach for 10, and I’m creating this community because amid all the pain, complexity and uncertainty of this moment, there is one thing I know for sure:
I want to show up — for my world and my community— with every ounce of creativity, courage, wisdom, and integrity in my body + spirit.
I know I can’t navigate what’s ahead alone, and I don’t want to. And I’m guessing that neither do you.
SCLC is a space where we can muck through the messy terrain of how we:
show up fully,
resist boldly,
build powerful culture,
and sustain ourselves through this moment of rapid transformation
— TOGETHER.
